Pierga Emmanuelle

Biography
Emmanuelle Pierga is Marketing and Communication Director of the Compagnie de Télémedecine (« Telemedicine Company »). Founded in Montpellier, from where it is run by practicing radiologists, CTM combines dual expertise in both the digital and medical-organizational innovation fields. CGTR is the radiology branch of CTM, the leading operator in French teleradiology with more than 500,000 patients treated each year. Since 2008, it has been a pioneer in the development of a French-style teleradiology, taking a local approach based on the principles of proximity and a regional presence. In addition, CGTR rigorously manages the risks and responsibilities related to the practice of telemedicine, for healthcare personnel and institutions, for the benefit of patients. Emmanuelle is in charge of all marketing and communication activities of this rapidly evolving Group. She is also a member of the Management Committee.
Before joining CTM Group, Emmanuelle was Head of Communication for Orange Healthcare, the healthcare subsidiary of Orange Business.
Emmanuelle is a graduate of the Sorbonne, of the French National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts (CNAM), and of the CELSA (School for Higher Studies in Information and Communication Science, Sorbonne University) where she specialized in translation, business intelligence and communication.
She is Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors of the Healthcare Data Institute, the think tank promoting the use of big data in healthcare. She is a member of the board of Femmes de santé, a collective for gender parity in healthcare. Emmanuelle is also a member of the Organizing Committee of the Health Communication Festival, and a member of the Board of Directors of the French National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts. She is an expert for the blog ManagerSante.com®.
Emmanuelle lectures in healthcare and new technologies, telemedicine and digital communication at the IAE (French Institute of Business Administration), Institut Léonard de Vinci and the EFAP (French School of Communication Professions) to MBA students in health communication and marketing.
