Holder of a Diploma in Applied Arts from the Ecole Boulle School of Art, Eric Phélippeau is, in this respect, a specialist in brand architecture. He spent two years as a designer with Carré Noir and Raison Pure, before creating in 1989 the Duetto Design brand consultancy agency.
Since 1992, his passion for branding has led him back to school but this time as a teacher teaching marketing and brand communication, in particular in different Marketing and Healthcare Communication Schools (ESCP Europe Business School, Institute of Business Administration (IAE) at Paris Sorbonne Business School – Almedys Life, Faculty of Pharmacy of Châtenay-Malabry, Institut Léonard de Vinci, Nantes IAE Institute of Business Administration).
Also a musician and passionate about music, with Aurélien Sooukian in 2003 he created By Music, an independent agency exclusively specialising in brand sound identity.
In 2004, he was joined by Alexandre Bruère, a strategic planner, to create the ByAgency Group. In 2008, Frank Leroux joined the two associates. Today Frank is the Associate Managing Director for the activities of the Group: naming, design, communication, digital technology and trade marketing.
Eric Phélippeau is also President of the FNIM (French National Federation for Medical Information), Vice-Président of the Healthcare Delegation of the AACC (French Association of Communication Agencies), and Co-President of the Healthcare Marketing Club of the ADETEM (French National Association of Marketing Professionals).
