Johanna Couvreur joined Institut Montaigne’s Healthcare Policy Program at the end of 2020 as Mental Health Project Manager. Her mission is to support the implementation and deployment of a pilot experiment in the Yvelines department in the region of Île-de-France, France, aimed at improving mental health integration in primary care.
A graduate of Sciences Po Grenoble, she has 20 years of experience in the health sector with charitable organizations. Her last position led her to work for ten years at the Fondation FondaMental, a psychiatric research foundation, as Director of Communications and Fundraising. On this occasion, she developed expertise in the management of severe psychiatric disorders and its actors. In order to fight against stigma and prejudice that still surround these pathologies, she also led several advocacy actions as well as digital campaigns, which have been awarded, for the destigmatization and popularization of science.
