Workshop Chatbots: An opportunity for sustainable health?
In collaboration with the Lab e-santé
Because they allow us to automate repetitive tasks while at the same time allowing an interaction that is more fluid and context-sensitive than with traditional digital channels, chatbots (conversational agents) are having great success in different sectors of the economy. Healthcare is no exception, as illustrated by the ever-increasing number of use cases in this sector.
The question of the extent to which this still recent and little-known tool can contribute to the objective of sustainable healthcare leads us to consider two aspects :
- How can chatbots improve the healthcare management of patients and help healthcare professionals do their job?
- How can we design good-quality and efficient healthcare chatbots that are built to last?
This conference will echo the publication by Le Lab e-Santé (The eHealth Lab) of the white paper “Will the future of healthcare have to be conversational?“, presenting the current state of practice and useful recommendations for healthcare stakeholders interested in designing and implementing conversational agents.
