Collaborative intelligence – Regional collaboration and healthcare provision: Beyond efficiency, eHealth at the service of the people
The use of eHealth is often presented as a vector for the integration of healthcare provision at the regional level: coordination between professionals, access to new healthcare services, “digital mobility” for the patient, . . . In this context, we have seen many rapprochements between establishments, organisations and professionals over the past few years, often with the encouragement of public authorities. It would appear however that each country, if not to say each region, has applied a different approach in this matter. At a time of national healthcare strategies, will eHealth be able to reconcile regional healthcare provision, national challenges and individual needs?
This round table will confront the different approaches implemented, their respective objectives and the obstacles which have been identified. This discussion will also be an opportunity to share the good ideas and good practices which have contributed to the success of such initiatives.
