LEAVE FOR THE CRUSADES!
Two essential sites in the north of the department: Cordes-sur-Ciel and Albi.
Two essential sites in the north of the department: Cordes-sur-Ciel and Albi. Cordes-sur-Ciel will dazzle you with its architecture: sumptuous gothic homes, covered market, churches, fortified entrances… and also crafts that are specific to this walled town that have made its reputation for centuries.
Albi, a city that is a UNESCO world heritage site, will surprise you with the treasures that it houses… the small streets of Albi old town, the Saint Salvy Cloister, the Berbie Palace, and of course its incredible Saint Cecilia Cathedral!
Two cities with distinct architecture but with a history that is closely linked to the Cathars.
