Keynote : eHealth and humanitarian initiatives
Humanitarian initiatives enter the digital age at a time when more than 125 million women, men and children in the world need humanitarian aid in 2016. All of the stakeholders concerned – international, UN, governmental and non-governmental, private and industrial – are facing new challenges to bring help and care to those who need it the most, namely women and children. New technology, mobile phones, the Internet are shortening times and distances to act faster and more efficiently. At the 2017 eHealth Summer University, the “Humanitarian initiatives” session will bring together healthcare professionals, NGOs, banks and insurance companies, and new technologies to merge their expertise and innovative solutions and continue to save more lives.
